Passengers flee as plane bursts into flames on the tarmac at Fort Lauderdale airport in Florida (photos)

A plane caught fire at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida airport today, sending passengers fleeing for their lives out of the aircraft's emergency slides. The plane was engulfed in thick black flames before airport firefighters came and extinguished the fire.
